Glad you enjoyed the recipe and that it turned out so well for you. Your picture of the bread is beautiful!
Best wishes for a Merry Christmas and a healthy and Happy New Year.
CynthiaCynthiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14890249016924933622noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7465880924332444395.post-48059944068607402892011-12-24T10:33:31.693-08:002011-12-24T10:33:31.693-08:00I made this and it was lovely!
Great presentation,...I made this and it was lovely!
Great presentation, easy to make.
I doubled the recipe since it was for a larger crowd and it came out perfect. Since I wasn't sure of the timing, though, I took it out of the oven when the internal temperature of the bread reached 185F (on any roasting/candy/frying thermometer)
It really is more a bread than a cake, so if you're serving it for desert, you may want to add more sugar to the dough.
The hint of cardamom is perfect!
I hope this link works since I took a picture of it :)
http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=2737486671915&l=073b95c822
Don't be put off by any recipe with yeast, btw. As the author notes, just buy a basic thermometer and keep the temperature of your dough between 100 and 110, never over 115F. Go for it and Merry Christmas!Superyaldahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13742541748142715863noreply@blogger.com
